When the mini bag trend emerged earlier in the year, I became quite seduced by the idea of a leather satchel. I appreciate how sophisticated and well crafted they can be and how they aren't really gender specific either man or woman could carry the same one. For a lady though, they appear androgynous and boyish, great for someone who finds comfort in jeans and Dm's than a dress and ballet pumps!
So imagine my glee when I stumbled across this absolute gem in Windy Ways Chazza shop, priced at a high fivin' one hundred pennies (yes, a quid) It's real leather and pure quality, lots of pockets and compartments. Love it.
ME, MYSELF & MACCLESFIELD Pssst! I originally started this blog back in 2010 when I had first moved back from London to lovely Macclesfield. Now I'm 26 and living in Levenshulme, Manchester and it's september 2012. So although the blog suggests I live there still, I don't. I do however, frequent the town to see my lovely family. Most importantly I stop off at the CHAZZA'S without fail, occassioanlly bumping into people that I'd rather not. Here are my findings.....

What a watch!
This is probably my most favourite thing that I've ever bought from the Macc Chazzas. A wind up, original 1950's watch. It just took a few quid for the watch man to get it ticking again. I don't tend to wear it a lot as it does slow down when it's unwinding and I have to double check the time. It's amazing though. The silver plane is the second hand and flies around and above the image in the back ground.I love the domed casing, it's so 'The Jetsons' I'd love to find out more about it and it's history.

High street versus Chazza!
If I were to cross these two pairs of shoes with one another...
+ (both form River Islands S/S 2011 collection)
I'm pretty sure I'd end up with something like this....
1)
But they wouldn't be £4.99 (British Heart Foundation) if i bought them from River Island, would they?
2)
This pair was under a fiver. My mum thinks these are verging too closely to Granny, but they are damn comfy and are so similar (if not as orthopedic) to the ones above from Office!
From Office 'Hurley' about 55 quid...
3)
From Oxfam 'ace' is their name and they were 3.99!

The best things in life are free...
After an initially disappointing hunt round the chazzas, I mean, i saw things but annoying they were mostly miles too big for any alteration! I even tried on a brand new, with tags, Theory, yellow pleated skirt which was on sale for 10 notes but the pleats started at the hip and it made me look like i was stood in a circus mirror, but it wasn't at all humorous. On the up side I found these lovely hangers in a box labelled 'free' in Windy Ways- I always knew something would crop up!
