April Chazza Shop buys!

Rabbit fur bag, gulp £1.50 and 'fruity' glasses 10p a pop! Windy Ways chazza shop,, Chestergate. As Greg from Master Chef would say "COR!"

Who's summer would be complete without some lime green, high waisted, denim shorts? Make my butt look gigantic, but I just couldn't resist. Let's see if I actually wear them. Samaritans £2.50
The shoes I bought for 4.99 from 'new, random' charity shop (the signage is really shite so I never actually make out what it says) on Mill street. I've bought some other Bally shoes from here before. They obviously pick up their clothing collections up from Prestbury-(posh neighbouring, village, home to The Rooneys and no street lights, for whatever, poncey reason)

Unfortunately they are a wee bit small, so if anyone wants these lovely, hardly worn, woven, leather shoes let me know!

Royal Window Age Concern Macclesfield

I Saw this window whilst passing Age Concern charity shop in Macclesfield this week. It's a royal wedding window, beautifully showcasing every ornament, book and object linked to this Fridays events (of which I shall be working throughout retail= bitch)

I'd love to instead attend the Northern Quarter Street Party "Don't mention the wedding" looks ace!

Oxfam EDIT

Ace!

Vintage Jaeger (below)

You'll come to realise that I'm an avid Chazza shopper! I'm actually quite obsessed with them and I find myself mentioning the 'c' word everyday, at least 3 times, mainly to people who don't give a crap. Everything you buy is unique, it's throw away fashion for a good cause. I love finding garments and accessories I can treasure though, here are a few things i came across in Oxfam, Mill Street. All were too big but I was allowed to take a few shots. Much more to come!

I'm an Oxfan!

http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=177624572285818&index=1 Follow link to Oxfam Facebook page where you can find all local info regarding the Fashion show on Thursday, Macclesfield. I 'll be helping out and possibly modelling some musty, granny'esqe chic! my favourite! I got involved by asking to take photos of some garments one Saturday (above). I was ushered upstairs by a volunteer to see the manager who asked me to get involved with the show and I don't think she quite understands how ace this is! Hope you can make it!

Fab Floral Find!

McCartney Spring 2011

I'm a massive follower of fashion, Not so much in what I wear but in knowledge. I especially love reading about seasonal trends whether it be from new prints, cuts or proportions to colour palettes, fabrics and silhouettes. I find it fascinating how these elements are redesigned and reconfigured seasonally to compliment a trend i.e 70's trend of spring 2011- billowing sheer shirts and flared jeans as oppose to the camel toe endorsing skinnies and peek-a-boo lace of autumn/winter 2010. I like to be in the know and look out for these details creeping onto the high street. I then have a store of mental information for when I'm doing the rounds at the chazza's. I try to find my own unique interpretations. As ever, this season sees the return of 'spring florals', a tricky one to reinvent and keep fresh and wearable.
This season it seems floral prints finally 'grow a pair' They dominate and not in a ditsy repeat way! Each flower, shall we say, is unique-slightly differing formations add a more couture edge to garments and the placement of the print seems quite random- ceratinly bigger and bolder. I particularly dribble over Stella's range for Spring, as I'm not a foral girl at heart, and tacky, floral garments of any kind, put me instantly off someone, similarly to a waft of bad breath, her willowy stemmed, over sized poppy heads, awkwardly juxtaposed against a moody palette emanates grunge and this.I.like! One afternoon, I came across this top in Cancer Research. not so grunge but totally great. I almost wet myself. £3.99 well spent!

Just look how it nods towards Stella's Spring collection and also this stunning Zara dress- £39.99 in shops now!

Fool's Gold

This post showcases years of careful/frantic rummaging in my beloved aforementioned 'chazza' shops. Battling against purple rinsed demons, I'm always on the search for unique, kitsch jewellery and accessories and I'm yet to be disappointed! So on a sunny Saturday afternoon, i took to the beautiful river Bollin to showcase some of my favourite finds amongst dappled sunlit trees and dog shite. All can be found just a 10 minute walk from my door. I can also assure you that I definitely would not have paid more than £2 for any of these gems!
